P Plus Products

P Plus Products is a company dedicated to research and development of new innovative products based on PRP (Platelet-rich plasma) technology.

Our role

Dr Mitra Najafi, award winning clinician and founder of P Plus Products, hired The 3D Consultancy to develop the design of their novel medical device used in PRP therapy.

Building on the first prototype design, the brief was to enlarge the device to take multiple blood samples and introduce precise motor speed control for important lab testing at the University of Surrey.

With the initial ‘first off’ design built and tested successfully, 3 other copies were quickly built and assembled. This allowed for a greater depth of study and repeatability tests.
